TurboCad exercises?

I would like to learn to use Turbocad, however I am having trouble just getting started (I am a complete novice). I have tried reading through the manual, but that is not really helping me. Are there any tutorials available where you can create a drawing step by step, with an explanation of how / why you are doing it?
I would be happy to be able to draw a shaped block with dimensions to begin with.

Hi Tom. I am in much the same boat though about two years ago I attended a course run by avanquest.co.uk in Winchester. It was very good but since then I have had virtually no consolidation practice and have lost it!

Not sure if avanquest are still doing the course but you have prompted me to find out. If you are near North London, maybe we could help each other.

I was thinking more of a simple exercise, for example, draw an exploded view of a shelving unit, in the form of step by step instructions with an explanation of what you are doing and why.
I went for a taster course in Autocad at the local college a few years back, but the instructor was more interested in smoke breaks!

I like your approach and if I can find a nanosecond, I will attempt this and let you know how I get on. Perhaps you would do likewise?

Avanquest are still doing the course in Winchester. It was max concentration - no smoking breaks!
