Just got sent a link to a new online IP protection system. Creative Barcode protects ideas with unique digital barcodes. Looks very interesting... http://www.creativebarcode.com/

Creative Barcode launched just one week ago. In that short time it has picked up 2167 media, blog, twitter mentions worldwide and become the subject of huge positive debate in Linked In Open Innovation and Crowdsourcing discussions. It is being hailed as revolutionary 'open protection' that will resolve key issues regards professional creative industries participation in OI activities as well as their negotiations with route to market partners at early concept stage. Design firms are signing up and starting to use Creative Barcode; and enquiries are being received already from brand owners wishing to explore using it as the IP standard in their OI and other procurement processes.

It's very early days but it has got off to a flying start. The Trust Charter, which is free to sign, is attracting big names already - we encourage all to sign who believe in ethical trading policies between professional creative industries and industry and co-creation partners. Support of the media and social networks has been fantastic - but creative industries firms are equally a critical audience - :D
 
Do you think that means it's good to go though? Is it a legitimate company that does good work? Even with their success in what seems almost overnight, you can't be too careful.
